a pretty spring umbrella

Today Sara and I ventured out into the sun to yard sale and thrift shop and enjoy a girls morning together.
I thought the thrift shops were a bit overpriced on furniture today, which is what we were looking for...at one store we spotted an umbrella we really liked for 13.00.  It was new, but we weren't looking to pay new prices for things.

I want old prices...cheap prices.

Our next impulse, drive-by stop landed us at the flea market.  There we found this vintage pretty for 2 dollars.
Here, another "pretty" models it for you, in her 5 dollar Walmart dress.  I LOVE this dress. It reminds me of something found in a little french boutique.  It's silky smooth, and there are cats on it.

And so we were happy with our new old umbrella.
